The Punk part comes from things like Cyberpunk and Steampunk. It’s about being the ones that ignore the oppression of society and try to live life fully regardless of circumstance. The reluctant heroes that learn to rely on each other. Punk also has its roots in modern culture, it’s anti-authority and anti-trends.
But why Fuzz, then? Animals. No seriously. See it’s a long tradition in the car world, and really even outside the car world in punk and “wasteland” scenes, to adopt animal pseudonyms or refer to things based on their animalistic properties. Not to mention how many cars are named after animals, or how often they appear in logos and designs, there’s just something cool about being more animal.
Is all this just a long-winded backward explanation for a name I thought sounded cool? Yes. But it’s not untrue.
FuzzPunks is a group formed by two people, Mutt and Shane, who like cars, food, and creating things. Also a lot of beer. The group is about freedom from trends, about having fun without caring about what other people think, and helping people. Because people helping people is awesome.
